Who we are
This policy covers vealive360.com and is published by VeaLife (formerly VeaLive360), a smart home company based in Beirut, Lebanon. We decide how the information described here is used, and we do not sell personal data.
You can reach us about anything on this page at info@vealive360.com or +961 79 089 428.
What we collect
When you request a demo or contact us
Your name and email, and whatever else you choose to add: phone, city, what you would like to explore, an estimated budget, solutions and ecosystems of interest, your message and whether you prefer a WhatsApp follow-up. If you arrived from a campaign link we keep its campaign labels (for example utm_source) with the request. We never attach browsing history to it.
When you place an order
Your name, email, phone, delivery details, the items and totals, the payment method you chose and the payment status. Card payments are entered on Stripe's secure payment page. We never see or store your card number. For Whish payments we record the transfer reference you give us so the payment can be verified.
When you subscribe to updates
Your email address (and name, if given) and whether you have confirmed. A signup is only a request until you click the confirmation link we email you. Until then we send nothing else.
When you leave a review
Your star rating, your comment and any name or email you add.
Automatically
Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, time) for security. Your bag is kept in your own browser's storage. Analytics and advertising data are collected only if you allow them (see Cookies and your choices).
How we use it
- To answer your request, prepare a demo and follow up the way you asked.
- To process, deliver and support your order, including order confirmations and invoices.
- To send product news, but only after you have confirmed your subscription. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
- To understand how the site is used and measure our ads, only with your consent.
- To keep the site safe: we screen out automated and duplicate submissions, for example forms completed faster than a person can type.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
Legal bases
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on the steps needed to fulfil an order or a request you made (contract), your consent (newsletter, analytics and advertising cookies), our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site, and legal obligations such as keeping sales records. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was done before.
Who processes it for us
We use service providers who handle data on our instructions:
| Provider | What for |
|---|---|
| BDI Systems (BDI Corporate) | Our customer and order system: requests, orders, subscriptions, reviews and the emails that go with them |
| Vercel | Hosting this website |
| Prisma Data Platform | The website's own backup copy of submissions and orders |
| Resend | Delivering emails |
| Stripe | Card payments |
| Shopify | Our product catalogue |
| Google (Analytics) | Site usage statistics, only with Analytics consent |
| Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) | Ad measurement with Advertising consent; checkout started from our Facebook or Instagram shop; WhatsApp conversations you start |
| Whish Money | Whish transfers, if you choose to pay that way |
We also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect people and property.
International transfers
Our providers operate in several countries, including the United States and the European Union, so your information may be processed outside Lebanon. Where the law requires it, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- The website's own copy of requests, orders, bookings and signups is deleted automatically after two years, and only once we have confirmed that the same record exists in our customer system.
- Customer and order records in our customer system are kept for as long as you are a customer and afterwards for as long as accounting and legal obligations require.
- Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. An unconfirmed signup is never added to our mailing audience.
- Analytics and advertising data follow the retention settings of Google and Meta.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. Email info@vealive360.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS with security headers, form submissions are screened for abuse, card data never touches our systems, and access to customer records is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.
Children
The site and our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
When what we collect or who processes it changes, we update this page and its date. For significant changes we will also tell subscribers by email. See also our terms.
