The connection path depends on the device and setup. Existing gateways and suitable adapters extend the ecosystem; these marks do not mean every radio is built into each VeaHub.

VeaHome is the app. VeaHub is the hardware you add to it, and VeaBlaster joins it for appliances with a remote. VeaHome Plus+ is an optional subscription, not a product you install. Start with the app and add the hub when the home asks for it.

Local radio devices need suitable hardware in the home. A cloud-only service still depends on its provider, and remote access still uses the internet. Alfred and autonomous features are in development.

Do I need to replace the devices I already own?
Often you can keep them. We check the exact model, integration and connection method. Home Assistant offers 1,500+ integrations across devices and services; that is ecosystem breadth, not a promise that every model or feature is available in VeaHome.
Does it work with Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home or SmartThings?
Yes. Keep what already works and migrate at your own pace. Supported devices and scenes can be brought into VeaHome, and suitable controls can still be shared back with the ecosystem your household is used to.
What happens if the internet goes down?
A supported local connection can keep local controls working. Hosted integrations, cloud-only devices and remote access need an internet connection.
What happens during a power cut?
Everything in a home automation system needs power, including the hub and the devices. We plan for the way homes here actually run: the hub and the network on backup so the system is awake when the power is, devices that return to a sensible state when they come back, and routines that do not fire nonsense in the gap.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many rooms and devices are involved and how much can be reused, so we quote after the compatibility review rather than guessing up front. Devices we stock are priced in the shop, and we will tell you when something you already own makes a purchase unnecessary.
