Do I need solar to benefit from this?
No. Most of the value is knowing what the house draws and when. Solar, a battery or a generator add their own lines to the picture if they can be measured.
How accurate is the cost?
It is an estimate from your readings and the tariff you enter. It is meant for decisions, not for disputing a bill.
Can it see my inverter?
Many inverters can be read, some through their maker's integration and some over Modbus. We check your model before promising it.
