Is this a monitored alarm?
No. VeaHome is a smart home system: it tells you and your household what is happening and can act on it. It does not replace a professionally monitored alarm or call the authorities.
Where is camera footage kept?
That depends on the camera. Many record to a card or a recorder in the house; some use their maker's cloud. VeaHome shows supported cameras in one place. If you turn on clip history in VeaHome, those clips are stored for you as described in our privacy policy.
Can I open the gate from the app?
In many homes, yes. It depends on the gate controller or intercom. We check the installation before promising it.
