Is it safe to put a water heater on a smart switch?
Only through a part rated for the load. A water heater draws far more than a lamp, so it is switched by a contactor or a high-current relay sized for it, never by an ordinary smart switch or plug. We specify the right part for your heater, and a qualified electrician fits it.
Can it tell when the mains power is out?
With the right measurement in place, yes: the house can know which source it is running on and act on it. We look at your panel and your changeover before promising it.
Do garden sensors need power cables?
The outdoor Guard sensors are designed for places without an outlet. We check range to the house as part of planning.
